Freedom to travel...
It has been a very busy two weeks!!! As a result I have been unable to break free to provide updates on my efforts to make it to South Korea this summer to volunteer in the Nehemiah Global Initiative Unification English camp. And perhaps my level of busy-ness has been for the good as I awoke to an AMAZING piece of news yesterday. As you have likely heard by now, the leaders of both North and South Korea met today at the Demilitarized Zone to shake hands, discuss a resolution for peace, and talk about the denuclearization of North Korea. While most of the world expected very formal talks behind closed doors, Kim Jong -Un walked out of the entrance of Panmungak Hall and excitedly crossed to the center of the DMZ to shake hands with South Korean President, Moon Jae-In. The two smiled, embraced, and at the end of the day struck a peace agreement recognizing the official end of the Korean War, and formally began talks on how to denuclearize the North peacefully.
